Sephora Haul

I just finished my favorite facial moisturizer so I needed to order a new container(will be in the next empties blog with mini review). I use the Sephora Instant Moisturizer which is only available at Sephora. I do not have a Sephora near by so I usually just order online. This month was also my birthday month so if I place an order I get 2 deluxe samples for free. I was holding out on ordering until a great deal came about in May. I am now for the first time a Sephora VIB so I get extra deals and exclusive purchases by e-mail quite often. I stumbled upon Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit which is $30.00 for a make-up bag and 19 deluxe samples and $20.00 dollars from each purchase goes to the Skin Cancer Foundation. The quantities were very limited but I did manage to get my hands on one. Here are all the goodies that I purchased...

I did try the They're Real Mascara and honestly I was not impressed. Girl, my eye lashes looked like 3 spiders and I have long thick lashes but they were turned into spiders in like 2 coats. I will keep trying but right now I am not impressed. Hope you enjoyed this haul until next time...

Breakfast Smoothie

Good morning everyone!! I am here with a healthy smoothie recipe that I make often. I have been trying for the last 8 months to eat healthier foods and enjoy the foods I make. I have attempted to make a billion different breakfast smoothies which is really a trial and error process in itself. This one happens to be my all time favorite and only 210 calories. Which is awesome because this is packet with protein, fruit, and nutrients. Lets get to the recipe...

 Ingredients-

Oikos Greek Vanilla Yogurt
Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Vanilla
Frozen Strawberries

 1 Cup Frozen Strawberries
I usually thaw the strawberries in the microwave for 1 minute so they are not completely solid. I also will do different frozen fruits like Peaches, Blackberries, or a mixture depending on what flavor I am in the mood for.

 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
I usually do the Vanilla flavor but I do like to switch it up and sometimes will use the Key Lime flavor. I prefer to use Greek Yogurt over regular yogurt because of the high protein which holds over hunger better.

 1 cup Almond Milk
I prefer the Vanilla flavor because it has a slight sweetness but regular flavor will do as well. I also sometimes "treat" myself and I will use Simply Orange Juice instead of Almond Milk. I usually do that once a week because Orange Juice has a lot of excess sugar.

 Blend
I use the Magic Bullet you can also use a blender but I like this because I don't over make the smoothie portion and it comes in a personal cup so you can just blend and go. So easy. The only downfall is that I wish this blended ice and veggies a little better but for smoothies this works awesome.

Enjoy!
The last step is to enjoy the smoothie! I like to drink this in the morning for my breakfast. You could also add  protein powder if you choose or more or less of each ingredient.

Hopefully you guys enjoy this smoothie recipe. I actually found this from BrunetteBeautyBlogger on YouTube  She not only does awesome make-up and hair she is also such a fitness inspiration. Check out her channel while you sip down your breakfast =)

Small Target Haul

Good morning everyone! Yesterday while having a cleaning and laundry day I did take a break and run to Target on the hunt for a different face powder. I am currently using the NYX Stay Matte Not Flat Face Powder and it is almost out. I have only had that powder for just over one month and I hit pan 2 weeks ago!!! Shocking...  So here are the goodies that I purchased at Target

Goodies

Bodycology Exfoliating Sugar Scrub in Enchanted Forest- I have been on the hunt for awhile for a drugstore body scrub. I just happened to stumble upon this at Target. Get this, smells just like BBW Twilight Woods which is one of my favorite scents. I try this out yesterday on my hands and they felt so soft and the scent lasted for over an hour. I am excited to use this before I self-tan. Not tested on animals. I can't find how much product you get listed anywhere on the container. Price $5.99
Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 004 Sandstorm- This is one of the drugstore powders that I have not tried. My all time favorite face powder is MAC MSF in Medium Natural but I am trying to find a drugstore powder I love. I went on whim and picked this up. My target did not have huge selection of colors but I think this one matches pretty well. I did try it yesterday as a touch up. I do think this powder has a smell which I thinks smells like unscented body lotion. You get 0.49 ounces of powder for $3.99 which I think is a great steal.
Maybelline Dreamlumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in Radiant- Don't get me wrong I love my Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Concealer in Corrector but I have heard rave reviews about this concealer. I don't really have a problem with under eye bags or circles but I do like to use concealers to highlight underneath. I was surprised by the color of this concealer I was expecting something a little more yellow but this is very salmon colored. Contains 0.05 fluid ounces for $6.44.

After I try these products out a little more I will try to write some reviews on them or if they end up in my Empties bags you will get some mini reviews then! Plus you doesn't love when you get to ACTUALLY see what people use up and what they think about the products in the end. Have an awesome Sunday! Enjoy

Empties #1

Empties are one of my favorite things to check out from any beauty guru! I mean these are actually products you used the whole thing up and have a good opinion from all of the use. Here are some products I have used up and some mini reviews- enjoy!

Empties!!!

Dove Go Fresh Deodorant Revive- I really loved the smell of this product was a fruity pomegranate scent but I don't think this really kept me from sweating. Now I don't sweat much but I just didn't feel dry all day.  I would not repurchase this product.
L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara- This mascara has always been a holy grail for me. I feel like I get great plump lashes. I do love this mascara a little old I do not like it fresh out of the package I feel like it needs to dry out a little before I actually love it. I will always repurchase this and already am into my next tube.
Covergirl Stay Fabulous 3in1 Foundation- This is a relatively new product but I am in love. This gives such great coverage and lasts all day. I do think the foundation oxidizes quickly after application but still ends up matching my skin tone all day. I have repurchased and will continue too.
Macadamia Natural Oil Nourishing Leave-In Cream- This was a sample size of the nourishing cream. I really love the Macadamia Deep Conditioner so this was held to a higher standard right off the bat. What I love is the smell and how soft my hair feels after. I don't use this as it is directed I like to style my hair straight or curly and then add a dime size amount to the ends to keep them nourished and soft all day. I have repurchased a small tube and am still loving it.

Kendra Volume Spray #25 Super Hold Finishing Spray- I love this hair spray. I went on a whim after hearing great things from many people. I don't think it leaves my hair crunchy but it does hold my styles all day. This has a nice smell that isn't overpowering. I will repurchase in the future but I have other hairsprays to use up at this time.
Head & Shoulders 2in1 Damage Rescue Shampoo-  First off I love anything Head&Shoulders I think their products keep my hair soft, healthy, and well nourished. I love the peach scent this product has. I tried the 2in1 shampoo-conditioner for a little added moisture and I absolutely love it! I will repurchase this product again in the future.
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deeeeep Treatment- This is another holy grail product of mine. I love this conditioner to the death. This product is cheap, smells awesome, and leaves my hair SO soft. I am already into another bottle and will continue to purchase.
Head & Shoulders Smooth & Silky Conditioner- Another holy grail drugstore product. This has a fresh clean scent and keeps my hair from drying out. I use this as a daily conditioner I don't actually use it to keep dandruff away that isn't a problem of mine but it just leaves my hair and scalp so healthy. I would recommend this and I will continue to repurchase.
It's a 10 Miracle Deep Conditioner Plus Keratin- This product claims to do 10 things instantly I do think it leaves my hair feeling and smelling awesome. I don't know if it is really worth the price tag (15-20 dollars). I happen to like the Aussie product just as much. I might repurchase with ULTA reward points but not with my own money.

Downy Unstoppables Shimmer Scent- If only you guys knew how obsessed I am with laundry and these things! I thought I would just show one bottle but I actually have a collection of 6 empty containers of these. I love the smell of this one! There are 3 other scents but this one is my favorite. I would describe it has girly and clean scent. I did use these on my boyfriends clothes and he loved how long the scent lasts. This is now a holy grail laundry product in my routine! Did I mention how soft this leaves your clothes too...
