Hey Loves! I had a blast filming this easy cat eye for beginners tutorial. I often forget how a lot of people struggle with things I have been doing for years! Shout out to my friend Sara for requesting this. If you are looking for a step by step directions on how to get an awesome cat eye look check out my video below:
Hey Loves! I have been loving to try out new products lately. At my most recent shopping trip to Walgreens I saw these new long wear lip products from Rimmel. I picked up the color 120 Pucker Up and wanted to do a first impression blog post for you guys!
This products claims to be kiss proof, transfer proof, food proof with high impact color. Also supposed to not feel tight or drying on the lips and leave the lips feeling moisturized all day. Suggested to be removed with an oil-based make-up remover. Lets see how this lip color stood up throughout the day...
First applied in the light at 8 am
9 am in indoor lighting
10 am coffee break
2 pm indoor lighting
I took pictures throughout the day so you can see the wear of the product. I was very shocked when I applied the color at how shimmery the color was because the packaging was a very light pale matte pink and when I applied the color was super shimmery. I do not have a problem with shine but this was over the top shimmer.
As I wore the product throughout the day I did notice a lot of dryness and tightness when the clear gloss top coat started to wear off. I did reapply the top coat several times during the day after eating and drinking. As you can see the product did transfer onto my coffee mug after a few sips. I also felt like pieces started to flake off and become almost able to peel off.
By the time I was finished with work I just wanted to take the lip product off because my lips felt almost crusty and I was so over the shimmer. I tried to use a make-up remover wipe to remove the product but I felt like I was rubbing so hard on my lips. I ended up using my toothbrush to get rest of the product off. I did not try an oil-based make up remover as recommended.
I have however heard that the darker shades are not so shimmery and are better feeling on the lips. I am not sure if I am going to try those out or not. Maybe I am just not a long wear lipstick gal--something about always having to apply that clear balm that doesn't appeal to me. Do you have a favorite long wear lip product? Let me know!
Hey Loves! I have another empties video up for you guys! Like always these are my favorite type of video to film and personally watch. I love seeing all of the products that get used up and who doesn't love mini reviews!

Hey Loves! One of my New Years Resolutions for this year was to track my spending habits and save more money. So I have been pondering several ideas to help myself reach this goal. Now I have not just started doing all of these things recently to make money but I have done them for several months or years to earn extra cash. If you are in college, paying off debt, or a stay-at-home mom and are looking for ways to create a little extra income then these tips are just for you! I have created a video on my YouTube channel also discussing the same tips so you can watch that or if you prefer to read then continue on wards
Babysitting or Pet Sitting
If you have free time throughout the day or are available nights/weekends then looking to child care or pet care is the perfect job for you. I would not suggest posting an ad on Craigslist showing your availability (even though I have personally done this) but I would suggest a website like Care.com which is more reliable. I have been doing both of these side jobs for years and you can earn yourself a good amount of extra money if you make yourself available. Pet sitting can be easy if you are an animal lover and don't mind staying over night at the owners home while they go on vacation. Not all pet care jobs involve overnights some are just occasional dog walking or feedings.
Selling Items on Facebook
There are tons of groups on Facebook now that are for selling items in your local area or city. Most of these groups you need to become a member for but that is easy. You can really declutter your home and earn some fast cash by selling your excess goods on these groups. Make sure you meet buyers in a public place and I would not recommend inviting them to your home. A good tip for selling you goods fast is take a few good pictures with good lighting and make sure to be descriptive in the comments.
Use eBates for Online Shopping
If you are anything like myself then you like to do a little online shopping here and here. If you are going to be shopping online I would recommend using a website called eBates that gives you cash back for shopping online. Really it is that easy, I promise. You just need to go through eBates to get to the online store you are looking for and continue to shop like normal. Not all stores are available but a lot of stores are. So why not use eBates to earn cash back on your online purchases. Here is a link to eBates sign-up.
Take Online Surveys
I have been taking online surveys for several years but until recently was I doing them on the regular. I use a website called Opinion Outpost where you take a variety of surveys for points. Once you reach a certain amount of points you can cash them in for money on PayPal, Amazon, iTunes to name a few. I usually cash in 100 points for $10.00 into my PayPal account. The great thing is that when you cash in your points you get the money right away into your account. I usually take surveys while watching TV or if I am feeling bored. You don't always qualify for every survey but if you don't then you get one entry in the $10,000 cash drawing that happens quarterly. Here is the link to sign up for Opinion Outpost.
Review Websites
This is a newer concept to me but I actually found this website on Pinterest one day while browsing. (Pinterest: Chelsea Tilson) This is a website called User Testing where you sign up to review new websites on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. You do need to download a special recording program because you are supposed to be speaking out loud while doing "tasks" given to you while you explore websites giving pros and cons. The test range in payment from $3-$10 and usually take around 5-15 minutes to take. There are not always test available so I suggest checking back often if you are able too. The only real downfall is that you do not receive the payment right away you will get the payment into your PayPal account exactly a week later so don't expect immediate cash flow. I normally forget that I have payments coming.
Hey Loves! Here is my first video doing a first impression on a product! I had so much fun filming this. Click to view my first impression of Maybelline Matte & Poreless Foundation and Powder Review/Demo!!
Maybelline Matte & Poreless Foundation/Powder
UPDATE-- I actually love the powder and still am not digging the foundation. If you want to wear a foundation for only a few hours then this would be great. If you work all day then I would suggest another foundation that is more long wearing like Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation.
Please let me know on any of the social media if there are any other products you want me to view!

Hey Loves! I hope everyone is enjoying the new year. I made a video with my favorite make up products from 2014. Make sure you take a peek at the video linked below!
Hey loves!! Happy New Year! I hope everyone is having a great year thus far and are making positive changes in your life! I decided I would try to better myself and set a few goals for 2015. I chose to stick to a small number of simple goals instead of creating a drawn out impossible number of goals to reach. Keeping my list small allows me to focus more time and energy on each one. These are the 5 things I am striving for this year...
1. Think Positive and enjoy the little things
2. Track my spending and save more.
3. Create a Blog/Video schedule
4. Eat Healthier and Drink More Water
5. Declutter
We live in such a fast paced world that we often forget to step back and enjoy the small things. I am going to try to enjoy my morning cup of coffee and just relax before I begin each day. Along with a fast paced world we are surrounded by negative energy. I am going to try my best to think positive and leave positive comments for others on social media and in person. Smile more.
Since I am planning to move later this year I need to think more amount my spending habits and refill my savings from my most recent move. I was without a job for several months and my savings took hit. I also am planning to attend my favorite music festivals this summer as well. I have set aside a "jar" to collect random change and dollars to our towards that.
I enjoy making videos and writing blogs so much but I have never set a schedule
for myself. I need to figure out something that will work for my current work schedule which shouldn't be that hard. I am thinking about 1-2 videos a week and 1-2 blogs as well. What do you guys think?!
Every year and for me, every month, I am constantly struggling to eat healthier and drink more water. I am trying my best to guzzle water daily and include more vegetables into my diet to start. Baby steps. This month I am also trying to eat out less which saves on calories and also helps my wallet too.
Since I just moved and know I have way too much stuff I want to Declutter my belongings before I move again in several months. I have no real plan for this goal but I need to focus on one box at a time and then move into my closet or other areas.
Hopefully my ideas will help you focus your energy into a better year as well. Do you have any other goals for yourself? I would love to hear them. Let me know!
